Community College Internships (CCI)
Sponsored by the Department of Energy Office of Science, CCI provides ten-week summer technical training experiences for community college students. Students work with scientists or engineers on technologies or instrumentation projects related to Fermilab's research program. As the United States' premier particle physics laboratory, Fermilab works on the world's most advanced particle accelerators and digs down to the smallest building blocks of matter. They also probe the farthest reaches of the universe, seeking out the nature of dark matter and dark energy.
